DEJA VU

.

Have you ever wondered why Muslims hate Israel and America? You can trace this hatred all the way back to Genesis in the Bible. . .Genesis 17:19 to be exact.

And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

Verse 19 above says that God was going to establish His Everlasting Covenant through Isaac, which is OK until we remember that 14 years prior, unto Abram was born a son, whose name was Ishmael [1]. Therein lies the rub, Muslims believe that Ishmael is the chosen one and that all blessings should go through him. After all, Ishmael was the first born to Abram.

The only trouble is, Ishmael was born of an Egyptian slave girl and not born of Abram’s wife, Sarai. This was a lack of faith on their part because God promised Abram earlier that he would have an heir, and it wasn’t to be Eliezer [2].

Tired of waiting, Sarai asked Abram to go in unto her handmaiden for the purpose of bearing Abram an heir since Sarai was barren. Well, déjà vu, just like Adam acquiesced to Eve’s influence, Abram succumbed to Sarai’s influence, and he agreed to bed Hagar [3]. Another devastating decision for mankind.

To God, Ishmael was Abram’s illegitimate child, whereas Isaac was Abraham’s [4] only son [5] through Sarai, his wife. God would establish His covenant through Isaac who is the seed through which Christ would come [6].

This is the problem even unto this day and according to the Muslims, until they wipe Israel and America off the face of the Earth, the Jihad [7] will never end. Muslims think they have a score to settle with Israel, which is the seed of Isaac.

They also think they have a score to settle with America, which, through adoption, and according to the Halaka [8], are the seed of Isaac through the belief in and the acceptance of Jesus Christ. Christians are Jewish through their acceptance of Christ who, as we have learned is the seed of Isaac.

However, it is all moot, as Christ is coming back for His Bride to set up His Kingdom reign and we shall ever be with the Lord [9].

HALLELUJAH!

Trying to deal with current events without a proper perspective on history is an exercise in futility as you have pointed out so well. Until we understand "why" people do what they do, we'll seldom understand "what" they do.
